The most significant change exterior 2009 Honda Ridgeline occurred in the "face" of the model where there's a new radiator grill and bumper modernised, which installed optics. 2011 Acura (Honda) NSX II - spy shots

Honda begins testing 2011 Acura NSX prototype sports coupe new generation. Distracting the attention of black-and-white camouflage does not see the exterior detail of future supercar, but no doubt that we are exactly NSX II, rather than a preliminary "mules" at the Honda S2000, which has already been photographed earlier. Unlike predecessor, the new V10 sports atmospheric capacity of around 450 hp will be located is not the middle, and just behind the front wheels. Premiere serial version NSX II will be held in the second half of 2009. Honda is planning to position 2011 Acura NSX very much: among its competitors are called Lexus LF-A, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo.

Honda FCX Clarity Hydrogen launched into serial production

Honda Motor Co. began commercial production car running on hydrogen. Four FCX Clarity sedan driven by electric motors, receiving energy from hydrogen fuel cells. The only product of such a complex is water. Moreover, according to Honda, a new car three times more efficient fuel consumption than a car with a regular internal combustion engine. At one refuelling hydrogen FCX Clarity can travel up to 490 km.

Since July Honda Hydrogen car will be available for a limited number of customers in Southern California and later in 2008 - to consumers in Japan. The main obstacles to the serial production of FCX Clarity remain high price and lack of refuelling stations for hydrogen.

2011 Acura RL - spy shots

Acura RL received a facelift a few months ago in preparation for the 2009 model year, but that hasn't stopped Acura engineers from proceeding full speed ahead with a complete redesign for the 2011 model year. The all-new RL will be the first ever Acura to use a rear-wheel-drive platform as its basis. Newest spy shots show a test mule for the new chassis, with body components donated from the 2009 TSX.

Recent rumors also indicate the car will come equipped with Acura's first ever V8 — a 420 horsepower 4.8-liter range-topping unit. Other more economical engines are also expected to be offered. An optional RWD-based version of Honda's SH-AWD system is expected to be offered.

The RWD nature of this car is plain to see. Take note of the large space between the front door and the front wheel, for example. While the test mule pictured looks like a Frankenstein TSX, the final RL will have completely new styling unique to it. Since the Advanced Sedan Concept was unpopular to say the least, designers are believed to have gone back to the drawing board.

Honda to Provide its New Fuel Cell Vehicle, FCX Clarity, and Other Technologies for the Hokkaido Toyako Summit

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will provide its new fuel cell vehicle, FCX Clarity, as well as Civic Hybrid and other advanced technologies for the Hokkaido Toyako Summit to be held July 7-9, 2008.


Honda decided to participate in support of the Japanese government’s effort to showcase the most advanced environmental technologies at this Hokkaido Toyako Summit.

In addition to providing environmentally-responsible vehicles, Honda is to exhibit its advanced environmental technologies including the CIGS(*) thin film solar cells, of which Honda began mass production and sales in 2007, as well as the Honda FC Stack, which is installed in FCX Clarity.

Moreover, Honda plans to demonstrate ASIMO at the Environmental Showcase (which will be located within the International Media Center, IMC, for exhibitions and demonstrations of Japan’s environmental technologies.)
